About Small City Roasting

I love my hometown, and I have always tried to invest in my community. I was raised in North East, Penna, and this is where I want my kids growing up. I firmly believe that with every good town, there is a good coffee shop to go along with it. This is why we started Small City Roasting and The Bean Coffee House.

Fresh hand-roasted coffee, provided to you with a historic, small-town feel.  We select only the finest beans, producing the best quality coffee.  Our favorites include: Guatemalan, Columbian, Burundian, Peruvian, Brazilian, Costa Rican, Sumatran, Mexican.

Our Roasts

Our roasted coffee is created through a specific process.  Each bean is researched and tested to determine time and temperature in which flavors are optimal. We currently offer a light roasted Costa Rican, a tri-blended House, a full city Colombian and a Darker than Dark Costa Rican.  Our expresso is also roasted as a single origin Brazil.

We create flavored coffee during the roasting process and are proud of our specialty creation. Our flavors circulate daily, with most common ones include: Jamaican Me Crazy, Hazelnut, French Vanilla and Sweet Cream. Our season flavors include German Chocolate, Birthday Cake, Snickers, Cinnamon Buttercream, Cinnamon Dolce, Mocha Caramel, Pumpkin Pecan, Pecan, Honey Graham, S’mores, Maple, Tiramisu, Salted Caramel, Chocolate Raspberry, and more.

Located in a small-town in north west Pennsylvania, The Bean Coffee house is where Small City Roasting started.  Roasting our own coffee not only creates beautiful smells inside of our shop, but the entire business district knows when we are brewing.  A great place to grab a cup of coffee, relax and chat with family or friends and enjoy some of the beautiful days outside on our patio or on the sidewalk.
